Upon returning home, I was greeted with a big package on the counter. The new magazine had been delivered and was waiting to be torn open! First impression was that is was much more substantial and had a beautiful tactile quality to the paper. Flicking through the magazine the change in layout and the way the stories ran were different but you could see the time and thought that had gone into them.

The familiar faces of designers I know scattered through the magazine along with the studio profiles and articles will certainly keep me away from the tv and busy reading on the commute to work over the next few days.

I had expected something special, and I am very pleased with the result. It is certainly an embodiment of ‘design culture’ and definitely something I would want to continue to be associated with in the years to come.
